Trouble Times

-----------------------------------

When time’s tough and life’s rough;
What will you do when the lights are off?
Killing off the insanity or yearn for love?
Maybe hiding aside crying soft.

Fine line crossing,
Between pride and freedom;
Whole life trying,
Getting rid of boredom.

Maybe it is a trial sent to test me,
But when will it end?
Maybe it is a burden,
But need I carry it?

Life’s just full of trouble,
But solutions differ;
Life’s just filled with laughter,
Just that it doesn’t ring near.

Beg to differ,
Said some,
Differ to beg,
Said I.

Disappointment

-----------------------------------

Crying out in the desert,
Looking for a stream of hope;
Fighting for those who deserves,
But waiting for never coming love.

Running through the fire,
Just so that I can have a closer look at my goal;
Is it too much to ask?
Just to have a taste of happiness?

Hideous stares from human,
Why is it so painful to bear?
The stares of envy and hate,
Why are they staring at the success?

I fell down on my knees,
The cold freezing rain licked my cheeks;
Only now I realize,
I’ve ran too much.

Must I give up my vision?
A vision of happiness that lies so far?
Is it never ending?
The pain that is so frightening…

Looking back at the past,
The pain and tears;
Maybe I’ve tortured myself too much,
Have I finally come to a full stop?

I’ve become so scared,
So scared of the man that I maybe;
Will it be the shining armour that I will be wearing?
Or will it be the cloak of solitude?

Should I look forward to the seat of gold?
Should I look forward to the staff made of gold?
Should I set my eyes so high up?
Maybe I’ll just be another disappointment.

Never give up

-----------------------------------

In this world, in this cruel world that we live in;
How many dreams have been destroyed?
How many times I have fell to the depths of disappointment?
How hard it is to stand up again?

Trying to go to where my vision leads;
Maybe, just maybe, something will change;
Something that has been hindering me from the light;
Maybe I will be able to overcome.

Life is like travelling on the sea;
Waves just keep on hitting on the boat that we’re on;
But when we are lost on the sea;
No doubt, the waves will keep us going.

Why can’t I do what I want?
Just what is missing? What is lacking?
Is it just my imagination?
Or is it the reality that I’m trying to forgo?

What actually is happiness?
Where do I want to go?
I tried to find it through the sunsets;
But I just end up lost in nowhere.

So, just let us keep on going;
Go away from here leaving behind our footsteps;
Let us keep on moving;
Until our tears dried;
Maybe something will change;
No, something WILL change;
Change for the better tomorrow.

Blessings

-----------------------------------
Look around this world no matter where you live,
When you are walking across a busy street,
When you are eating in a restaurant with a busy feat,
What do you see but people with lots of needs?

Blessed are those who are poor,
for theirs is the wealth of the rich;
Blessed are those who are a fool,
for theirs is the guidance of the wise;
Blessed are those who are weak,
for theirs is the help of the strong;
Blessed are those who are selfish,
for theirs is the generosity of people;
Blessed are those who are in pain,
for theirs is the healing of healer;
Blessed are those who are sufferings,
for theirs is the pity of the blessed;
Blessed are those who complain,
for theirs is the company of fools;
Blessed are those who cry,
for theirs is the people who makes them cry;
Blessed are those who cannot read,
who theirs is the help of reader;
Blessed are those who die,
for theirs is the freedom from this ugly world...

Blessed are those who meditate on this,
Blessed are those who understand this,
Blessed are those who knew this,
for theirs is the wisdom that many seeks.

Distance

-----------------------------

The distance between you and me;
Like a giant wall that was built in between;
Would we be able to overcome;
This test just by ourselves?

Uncertainties is all I have,
To be away so far from you,
But faith has hold me tight,
Allowing me to scare no more.

Have you been watching the same sky as I am?
Reaching out my hand to the starry night,
Hoping that it would reach to you,
To hold you tight this very night.

Can we withstand this feeling?
This feeling of sadness and loneliness,
This feeling of unsecure,
When would be the day of our reunion?

Crying myself to sleep each night,
Seeing your smile, your image when I close my eyes,
It is like your image has been burned into my eyelids,
Will this be the source of my strength in days of trouble?

Wanting to give away this feeling,
But this would mean letting you go away from me,
It hurt so much just by the thought of it,
What can I do to withstand it?

Why am I alone in my room?
Are there anyone else who is feeling the same as I am?
Having a distance love,
And being alone on this day?
This valentine?

Only Human

-----------------------------

On the other side of sadness, there is something called smile;
If only I can get over there, what will be waiting for me?
Dreams are not for us to run away, but for us to go on a journey,
A journey far far away from the broken lives we lived.

Tomorrow, will I be able to see?
A day without sighing?
A day where love overflows?
But as for now I will try my best to move on…

A place of suffering, a place that everyone yearns for happiness,
If only I can find the flower that brings miracles;
We are not here to run away, but waiting for tomorrow,
Looking at the clouds high above, unable to hold back my tears.

Loneliness, I have gotten used to it,
To be independent,
Not to shout out for help,
Just thinking of moving further and further…

Will it turn out right to walk through this alley that has little sunshine?
Like when the clouds went away, allowing the sunshine shone on the damp road.
Tears and injuries, will they be able to guide me?
Along this dark alley towards the blinding light.

The Confession

-----------------------------------
I can’t understand this feeling;
Is this love or just an attraction?
But isn’t love an attraction?
A question in my mind that I found no answer.

Courage I gathered up;
To settle the problem that rose up;
Saying ‘I love you’ is the sentence I came up;
But is this a temporary solution I made up?

Unable to settle the feeling inside;
I've decided to put the feeling of ambiguity aside;
Maybe being lovers is alright;
But can I say it tonight?

What if rejection is what I get?
What if friendship is what I’d lost?
What if my happiness will all be gone?
When the word of rejection is all I got.

Maybe I’ve meddled too much;
Into the world of friendship and love;
Should I be away for a while?
And think like an imbecile.

But the courage that I’ve gathered up;
Pulling my hands like I’ve messed up;
Unable to live in confusion, my mind was made up;
call her now, tell her now, my mind will be cleared up.

Taking the phone, dialing the number;
A feeling so scary like no other;
My heart beating fast as I press the dialer;
Will she pick up and give me an answer?

My heart stopped for a moment when the line was connected;
The line that I memorized gone chaos I remembered;
Spill out everything is the method;
‘I love you’ is the sentence that I muttered.

Silence is what I heard;
The sound of heartbeat become blurred;
Fearing the feeling of getting hurt;
Hang up the phone is the action I resorted.

Unable to sleep my eyes wide open;
Did she hear that before the silence?
The thing that I feared the most, the sentence;
Non-stop on my bed I turned.

To settle the rowdy feeling inside;
I’ve had my hand on the dialer again;
Will she in my arm abide?
Or disaster is all I'll gain?

Again she picked up the phone;
‘the answer?’ is all I can speak of;
‘ok’ is what I own;
But emptiness is all that I can think of.

The Secret

-----------------
You are the place where my eyes are set;
Wishing for the time our eyes met;
Getting some attention from you I’ll bet;
Away from the loneliness my heart said;
Making the move as fast as my mind gets.
An emotion of love is this it?
My heart throbbing so fast as our eyes set;
Staying close to you, my adrenaline running mad;
Away from you, my heart felt dead;
Where should I be I ask myself sad;
No where in this planet where my heart can rest.
Going for a walk with you in fact;
Is a dream came true I get;
Trying to hold your hand my mind was set;
But to no avail instead.
How strange this feeling will get;
Like a sickness that I’ve never get;
Is this lovesick that everyone said?
But it’s bitter without sweetness I get;
Why can’t this happen to me in the future instead.
I asked myself a thousand times when I was in my bed;
Can this really be love that I get;
Or is it just an attraction that I’ve never guessed?
Maybe it’s an illusion that my mind has set;
Hoping to get away from loneliness is what it’s meant;
A secret so deep within that makes my tears shed.

The Freedom

-----------------------------

A feeling so strong, a feeling so tempting;
A feeling so nice and motivating;
To find a place of our own making;
To the freedom that we are all craving.
Making excuses to avoid working;
Running away from responsibility is what we are targeting;
‘Away from bondage’ our hearts wanting;
To the freedom that we are all craving.
Getting drunk when we go clubbing;
To avoid the world that we are now living;
Finding of the hands that are now asking;
To the freedom that we are all craving.
Finding friends is a method of running;
Away from troubles is what we are aiming;
Help me to solve my problems is what I am asking;
To the freedom that we are all craving.
Away from city is where I am going;
Away from the crowd where the noise is so compelling;
Away from shame our hearts are calling;
To the freedom that we are all craving.

Loneliness

Loneliness
-----------------
Loneliness, a feeling like a cloud in the sky;
Looking down at the busy people from the sky;
Making rain falls as the years go by;
Yet friends there are none as the cloud gone by.
Loneliness, a feeling like an island in the sea;
With no other islands except me;
Crawling through the time I thought was free;
With the unknown danger that lies beneath;
Loneliness, a feeling like the storm in the desert;
Hitting nobody and nothing that deserves;
Meaning to get some attention is what it serves;
To the people who left their humanity out in the wilderness.
Loneliness, a feeling like a stone in the corner;
Asking for a friend yet no one bothers;
Wanting to move to other place yet it contains no power;
Wanting to break free from a bondage called loneliness.
Loneliness, a feeling like a human being;
Being left out without asking;
Being ignored without feeling;
An emotion that is worst fitting;
To a human being like me.

Time for the LORD~

A poem,a tribute to our Lord;
An action,an example to the people;
A song,a guidance to the lost;
A love,an example set by our God.

Here is the main poem though...hahaha...

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

Think about it.
